Our business opened in 2019 with the plan of operating a care facility until Covid-19
changed everything. We are honored to serve the community in their own homes. In
2021 we opened our first commercial location with our home care services. Now in
2024 we are broadening our horizon by providing home health care services.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our home care team. The PCA will provide personal care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life at home. This position requires someone who is patient, caring, and capable of managing the physical tasks associated with client care.
Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, washing dishes, and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Administer first aid when necessary
- Implement dementia care techniques for residents with memory impairments
- Respect and uphold resident rights at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily routines
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Complete all required documentation and report to the Home Health Care Coordinator or nurse supervisor.
Skills:
- Proficient in first aid procedures
- Experience in dementia care is a plus
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations
- Ability to monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities
- Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Understanding of home and community care practices
- Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
- Ability to work within established systems while being adaptable to changing needs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in first aid and CPR preferred
- Previous experience in personal care or related field is advantageous
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
- Must have current class c driver license.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- TB Test (must pass)
- Ability to lift 50 lb more than three times consecutively.
